This is Journeyio, a blog from an Indian travel enthusiast, Jaspreet Singh. 

I created this blog to give you all the information you might need as a visitor to all the awesome places I’ve had the privilege to explore in Himachal Pradesh. 

Whether you are coming to Manali or Chandigarh or Kasol and Kasauli, I’ve been there. 

My goal is to ensure that you do not go through the same problems I went through in my early days of exploring Himachal Pradesh.

after going through all these uncertainties and eventualities for more than a decade, I realised that you will also want to visit the beautiful hill town of Himachal Pradesh someday. 

And what if you faced the same challenges?

Take for instance the several visitors I have met coming to Manali in December wearing summer clothes. I have witnessed them shivering thoroughly under the cold chilly winter and snows of Manali. Why?

The places I have travelled to in Himachal Pradesh

I am generally based in Himachal Pradesh. I have journeyed to districts of Bilaspur, Chamba, Hamirpur, Kangra, Kinnaur, Kullu, Lahaul and Spiti, Mandi, Shimla, Sirmaur, Solan, and Una. I have also been to Manali, Dalhousie, Dharamshala, Khajjiar, Kasauli, Kasol, Bir Billing, Tirthan Valley, Malana, Shoghi, Narkanda, Naggar, and Mashobra. If you need a religious retreat in Himachal Pradesh, I can point you towards Jakhu Temple (Shimla), Hidimba Devi Temple (Manali), Dalai Lama Temple Complex (McLeod Ganj), Manikaran Sahib Gurudwara (Mandi), Chintpurni Temple (Una), Baijnath Temple (Kangra), Naina Devi Temple (Bilaspur), Rewalsar Lake (Mandi), Prashar Lake (Mandi), and Triund Hill (Manali). Not to forget the villages of Malana, Tosh, Kheerganga, Manikaran, Jibhi, Shoja, Tirthan, Sangla, Kalpa, Chitkul, Kaza, Spiti Valley, Tabo, Nako, Hikkim, Komic, Mud, Langza, Tawang, Rewalsar, Prashar, Triund, Solang, and Rohtang Pass. Many things make my travel experience unique. I am highly connected with the best hotels, tour operators, and security personnel in Himachal Pradesh. 

This happened during my one-and-a-half years of being the hotel manager of Vyas Vatika Manali. 

I am also unique in my knowledge of Himachal Pradesh. 

As I mentioned earlier, I have had the pleasure of exploring Himachal Pradesh for over 10 years. I grew up here. 

I have significant spatial awareness of this place throughout the year.

 I know what roads are impassable during what periods of the year and which ones will take you to your destination fast to beat the traffic. 

I also know the roads and highways that are safe at night and those you must avoid. Your safety is our priority, just as much as your travel experience is.
